We accept orders for delivery from all parts of South Africa. Delivery of your order will be done by a reputable courier company, The Courier Guy who will deliver to an address of your choice.

Deliveries generally take an estimated 5 – 10 working days from date of payment confirmation. Note that whilst we strive to deliver orders within said timeframes, delivery can be delayed from time to time due to causes out of our control. Deliveries to outlying areas may take longer than to central areas. Note that all deliveries are scheduled for standard business hours which are 9am to 6pm.  We cannot commit to delivery at a specific time during the day.

An email will be sent confirming dispatch of the order by Timber Fans together with a link to track the delivery status of your order.


Delivery fees are automatically calculated based on the delivery address submitted within South Africa and volumetric weight/dimension of an order.


Provide full, detailed address to which the order must be delivered, with a name & contact number at the address of the person to whom the parcel can be handed. Delivery can only be made to a physical address (no Post Box addresses) where there is a person to receive and sign for the parcel.


Timber Fans will take back and replace or refund any unwanted product supplied, provided the following is observed:

  • You have communicated to us your wish to return an item within 21 days of initial delivery.
  • The product you are returning is in resalable condition; free of scratches, blemishes or modifications of any kind
  • All components, manuals and parts are returned
  • The product is returned in its original packaging.
  • The product is inspected/tested by us on return and found to be fault-free.

Freight and Insurance costs for a return and a replacement will be for your account.

Goods returned will be subject to 10% handling fee in addition to freight costs.

Custom-designed fans are not accepted for return unless they can be converted back to a standard product with the cost of conversion bought by you.


Occasionally a new product has a fault on arrival or is felt to be the wrong product specification.

If this happens, then our policy is to replace the faulty part(s) only. In this case, the faulty part must be returned to us for testing.

Provided our tests confirm the fault, we will supply the replacement part(s) at no cost and will bear the freight cost for both shipments.

However, if you do not want the product in its entirety, then you are free to return it as detailed in the “UNWANTED PRODUCT” section above.

Under no circumstances should any product be returned to us without prior communication with us to discuss and confirm the reason for the return.
