Great start to the Sirocco Launch in SA
It was in late November 2016 that we first proudly announced that we were to be the exclusive importers and distributors of the Sirocco ceiling fan in South Africa. Since then there has much activity on our part to get ready for our first consignment, inform our customers, obtain our NRCS safety compliance certification and generally prepare the product for the Southern African market.
So far, we have literally been blown away by the reception that the Sirocco has been given by our customers.
The orders have been coming in from all over, and it is easy to understand why, as the Sirocco is truly a striking creation that will grace the decor of any home or hospitality establishment.
Not only that, the Sirocco is a real performer, with the 1.5m unit pushing an impressive 13,000 m3 per hour of air, and all of this consuming a mere 24 watts of power on highest speed setting. This makes it perfect for bigger rooms, living rooms and covered outdoor areas.
A further feature that has impressed us no end is the truly silent operation of the fan with virtually no air movement noise even in the higher speed positions. A must for all the insomniacs out there!
When we first planned the launch of the Sirocco, we imagined that its appeal would largely be confined to Hotels, Resorts and other large scale developments. While this is true, we are really bowled over by the number of individual homeowners who have inquired about the fan and have been placing orders!
It’s been a great start for the Sirocco in SA, and we thank our many customers. It just goes to show that there is no substitute for quality and style, and, as they say in the classics; “a thing of beauty is a joy forever!”
