Cleaning your Ceiling Fan
We recommend using an old pillow-case.
- Turn off the ceiling fan and position a step ladder beneath it to access the blades.
- Lightly mist the interior of an old pillowcase with a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water.
- Slide the pillowcase over one of the blades and gently wipe it, trapping any dust and debris inside.
- Repeat this process for the remaining blades.
- If necessary, use a microfiber cloth or duster to clean along the edges and remove any leftover residue.
To avoid heavy build up, we recommend regularly using a micro-fiber cloth or duster to clean your ceiling fan.
It’s a good idea to clean fans each Spring and Autumn as you switch the direction of the blades from winter to summer mode, which helps keep you cool in the summer and warmer in the winter.
Happy cleaning and enjoy the fresh air circulation!
